The simplicity and the power of LOVE
It`s a trend to criticize religions and demonize any effort to create a transient stability rock to ease human anxiety, fear, and suffering.
The fact is that humans carry fundamental fears related to death, change, stability, and loss. These feelings are so primal, so strongly imprinted in our DNA that often ends up taking the driver's seat and ruling our decisions and our lives.
Humanity craves for an anchor, a safe harbor, a stable rock where They can rest Their frightened bodies and tormented souls. It`s true that religion has served a purpose to billions of brothers and sisters. We can also admit every creation of human intellect will carry limitations. The same primal instincts that carry the scariest fears of humanity tint its own creations with imperfections.
Should we invalidate anything done by humanity then?
I don’t believe so. Regardless of how many human limitations were added to the sacred texts, the fundamentals are the same, and they are crisp and clear.
Love is the universal law of life.
What if the very understanding of what Love is, is actually the root of every problem of humanity?
If you are brave enough to reflect upon life from your heart and not from the judgemental and discriminatory Mind, you will soon enough reach a better grasp of reality.
Spend some time observing kids, animals, and nature, and you will soon realize that we all come here to this planet with pure expressions of fraternity and love. So, what contaminates that purity?
The limitations of the instinctual mind, the egotistical mind that works 24/7 for the survival of its own body. Well, you may say our dear animals have the same expression, but still seem to achieve a certain balance that humanity struggles to achieve or sustain. So, what is different in humanity?
Maybe, it`s the inclination for judgment and discrimination. When confronted against the Law of Life, these behaviors seem to go against its flow.
A good observer is able to identify trends and common aspects in Human Behavior. Through observation, one can grasp some fundamentals of the laws that rule our reality and our cosmos.
What am I proposing?
Perhaps humanity should dedicate more time to formal and informal philosophical discussions on understanding what love is, in its potential. More importantly, spend more time feeling it!
The beauty behind attempting to understand something is the humility of admitting your limitation of comprehending it as a whole.
Maybe ideas and fundamentals should not be thought, but openly discussed philosophically to avoid limiting things that are limitless in nature. That would allow humanity evolve along it`s own understanding of the universal laws.
Primarily, understanding self-love brings the evolution of the instinctive nature of self-preservation. Secondly, the understanding of the expression and limitations of conditional love, the one that is given to and received from people we care about or we agree with. Ultimately, unconditional love. The one that allows loving and being compassionate with our brothers and sisters that got lost on the path of understanding the universal law of life. Love!
The current questioning mentality of humanity is very valid. It comes from the discovery that transient safety rocks are valid but still perish. The ultimate path of humanity is now to find the solid, fixed, and indestructible rock where the bodies can rest and the souls can replenish and flourish.
And this rock lives inside each one of us!
